Psychotherapy and consultation for children, youth and adults
Jennifer Stinson, MSW, RSW
Clinical social worker/therapist
We all come to points in our lives that can be difficult beyond measure. Changes, losses or conflict can turn into crises that can impact all of us. When these challenges begin to impact our relationships and daily functioning, psychotherapy can help. I am committed to a gentle, yet encouraging and collaborative approach which supports self-awareness, healing and growth.
My specialties include helping adults, children, youth overcome distressing life events and challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, stress management and life transitions.
My therapy style is informed by many years of counselling practice with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in the Edmonton area. I am a registered clinical social worker and a graduate of the University of Calgary Clinical Masters of Social Work program.

“Therapy is first about discovering. It’s about who you are and about what your deepest emotional attitudes are. It’s not just about who you think you are. It’s not opinion. It’s not something you can know with the intellect. It’s about who you are in the very heart of yourself. That’s the flavor of psychotherapy, discovering yourself, discovering your real attitudes toward the most important pieces of your life.”
—Ron Kurtz, Hakomi Founder.
