Starting therapy can be difficult. Individual therapy sessions are all about supporting you to feel comfortable. Comfortable enough to show true vulnerability and learn from what it has to teach us. Showing up—and being present—is half the battle. And some days that’s all that matters.
Other days we can explore deeper. I have advanced training and experience in Hakomi, a mindful, experiential and body therapy method and EMDR (trauma therapy). However, I will work where you are at, and can move between various approaches which are best suited to you. This means the therapy session moves at a pace determined by you, and the conversation goes only where you feel it will be of benefit to you.
